AURORA – State Senator Karina Villa will be hosting a mobile DMV event alongside State Representative Barbara Hernandez, Aurora Alderwoman Juany Garza and the Illinois Secretary of State to provide community members greater access to driver services.
“This mobile DMV is a convenient way for members of the community to stay up-to-date on these important services,” said Villa (D-West Chicago). “I encourage everyone who has been unable to visit their local facility to take advantage of the driver services that will be provided.”
The mobile DMV event will be held Thursday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church’s Simard Hall located at 771 Fulton St. in Aurora. Appointments for all services are required. To schedule an appointment, residents can call 630-256-3020.
Services provided at the event will include driver’s license and state identification card renewals, replacements and corrections, vision screenings, license plate renewal stickers and REAL ID services.
