BARTLETT – To provide community members the opportunity to learn about property tax exemptions in Cook County, State Senator Karina Villa is hosting an event to give a presentation and answer any questions attendees may have.
The Cook County Property Tax Exemption Seminar and Workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hanover Township Senior Center located at 240 S. Route 59 in Bartlett. The event is in partnership with State Representative Maura Hirschauer, the Cook County Assessor’s Office and Hanover Township.
“Everyone is welcome to join us for an informative seminar on property tax exemptions followed by a Q&A,” said Villa (D-West Chicago). “These exemptions are a great tool to help veterans, seniors, those with disabilities and others save money. I encourage all to attend so no one who qualifies misses out on this opportunity.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn what property tax exemptions exist, their eligibility and how they can apply.
